Sparrows have a well-earned reputation for being hard to identify—but we've got the tricks to crack that Little Brown Bird code. Develop field strategies for tackling fall sparrows, including American Tree Sparrows, White-throated Sparrows, and Song Sparrows.
Learn to read the subtle differences in streaking patterns, face markings, behavior, and habitat that help separate one species from the next and become an expert on the species most commonly found in Massachusetts throughout the fall and early winter.
This program is part of the Autumn Birding Online Series. Each session stands alone, but if you register for the whole series before it starts on October 13, you get all five sessions for the price of four. Other session topics include winter flocking, fall warblers, waterfowl ID and more.
