Description
The Massachusetts coastline has some of the best birding real estate in New England. Learn about the ecology of coastal habitats, from sandy beaches to rocky shores to tidal flats, and discover which species are uniquely adapted to each. Learn why Cape Cod and the Islands draw such a remarkable variety of shorebirds, wading birds, and seabirds, and hear about Mass Audubon's conservation work in protecting these birds and their unique habitats.
This program is part of the Birding by Habitat Online Series. Each session stands alone, but if you register for the whole series before it starts on October 6, you get all six sessions for the price of five. Other session topics include salt marshes, woodlands, grasslands and more.
Recordings will be sent to registrants after the program.
