Birding by Habitat Series

Description

Every habitat in Massachusetts attracts its own community of birds, and learning to recognize the connection between habitat and species is one of the most rewarding skills a birdwatcher can gain.

This six-part online series explores a different Massachusetts habitat in each session: coastal shores, grasslands, woodlands, salt marshes, shrublands, and urban environments. Learn which birds are found in each, how they've adapted to thrive there, and what conservation work is protecting those places.

Each session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on October 6, you get all six sessions for the price of five. Recordings will be sent to registrants after each program.
