Birds of Massachusetts: Hawk Migration

Every autumn millions of hawks migrate south, providing the best opportunities to see them in flight. However, identifying hawks soaring across the sky at a distance poses many more challenges than seeing them perched or close-up in photos. Meet Your Presenter: Paul M. Roberts has been studying hawks, their migration, and identification for several decades. He founded the Eastern Mass Hawk Watch (1976) and is past president of the NorthEast Hawk Watch.
