Birds of Massachusetts: Nighthawks

Description

As aerial insectivores, Common Nighthawks catch insects on the fly. Learn about these popular birds' life history, behavior, ecological niche, and population status, in addition to the best places and times to see them in the coming weeks. You will also get the chance to explore another member of the Goatsucker family, the Eastern Whippoorwill, whose call was once well-known throughout Massachusetts.

Each Birds of Massachusetts session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on April 21, you get all 6 sessions for the price of 5. Recordings will be sent to registrants after each program.
