Description
More than 30 warbler species pass through Massachusetts during spring migration, with more than 20 breeding here in the Commonwealth. Their bright, cheerful plumage always enlivens spring birding adventures, but identification can be challenging due to the sheer number of plumage patterns across this diverse set of species. This program will cover warbler habitat preferences and marathon migration routes, introduce a logical framework for ID, offer tips on making the most of limited views, and suggest the best places to view these colorful visitors.
Each Birds of Massachusetts session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on April 21, you get all 6 sessions for the price of 5. Recordings will be sent to registrants after each program.
