Description
Get a taste of tide-pooling in this online exploration of the intertidal zone. Twice a day, the tides ebb and flow along the coast, creating opportunities to observe tidepools and the creatures that depend on them. Within these pools, a diverse array of flora and fauna must survive the extreme daily changes in temperature, sun exposure, predation, and more. Learn about creature adaptations, the threats they face, and what makes them fit to survive in such a dynamic environment.
Each Nature of Massachusetts session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on April 16, you get all 6 sessions for the price of 5. Recordings will be sent to registrants after each program.
