Description
The lives of native amphibians and other creatures are inextricably linked to vernal pools—temporary bodies of water created by spring's snowmelt and rain. In spring, frogs and salamanders undertake an incredible migration to vernal pools for breeding, an annual event commonly referred to as "Big Night." Discover vernal pools, the lives and life cycles of the critters that depend on them, and how we can help protect them against the impacts of climate change.
Each Nature of Massachusetts session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on April 16, you get all 6 sessions for the price of 5. Recordings will be sent to registrants after each program.
