Nature of Massachusetts Series

Description

Dive into warmer days with this six-part series exploring seasonal hallmarks of Massachusetts nature. Learn how flora and fauna awaken from the cold quiet of winter to bloom, migrate, reproduce, and more. Discover the beauty of changing seasons as warmer temperatures coax wildflowers out of dormancy, and fireflies return to brighten our nights. Spring and summer mark a short window of explosive activity in the natural world: frogs and salamanders seek out vernal pools to breed in; intertidal zones teem with life; and milkweeds transform the landscape with their colorful blooms and the community of critters that come with them.

Each Nature of Massachusetts session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on April 16, you get all 6 sessions for the price of 5. Recordings will be sent to registrants after each program.
