Description
Not sure what to do with that old shirt that's been sitting in the back of your closet? Discover the sustainable craft of upcycling, using our creativity to give old products new life. Learn how to select and acquire fabrics from Aelen Unan, the owner of local Cambridge business Ninawa Zero Waste Clothes, and practice different ways to sew new designs by hand. We will provide some materials, but we encourage you to bring your own fabrics. There will be a step-by-step demonstration on how to make scrunchies toward the end of the program, where you'll try your hand at making your own.
