Description
No car? No problem! Ride the Green Line to the end of the D branch, where the Charles River runs close to the platform, and spend the first full morning of spring looking for early signs of the season.
A naturalist will show you what to look for: swelling buds, early shoots pushing up through the mud, returning birds, and the first insects out on a warm day. Learning to notice these small changes is what turns a riverbank you pass on the train into a place you know. See public transportation as a pathway to discovery and develop a deeper sense of belonging with the environments we pass by every day.
