Smartphone Nature Photography: Capture the Charles

Description

You don't need a fancy camera to take stunning photos! Learn how to capture and communicate nature discoveries with the powerful camera in your pocket. This guided photography walk invites you to slow down and appreciate the details of the riverside landscape: light filtering through leaves, reflections on the Charles River (Quinobequin), and a bird perched just long enough to photograph.

An instructor will show you how to unlock the potential of your phone camera with techniques for composition, lighting, and settings to help you capture professional-quality photos. Select photographs from the walk may also be featured in a community art display at the nature center.
