Fall Migration Bird Walk

Description

October brings a flurry of activity to Magazine Beach Park as birds pass through on their way down south for the winter—close to 100 bird species have been recorded at the park during fall migration.

On this guided walk, search for songbirds on the move like thrushes, vireos, raptors, waders, and some of the 25 warbler species that stop by in the fall. Learn what drives their journeys and why urban green spaces like this one are lifelines for migrating and resident wildlife alike. Birders of all skill levels are welcome.

Checking registration status.
