T-stop Trek: Nature of Forest Hills

Description

No car? No problem! Hop on the Orange Line to explore Forest Hills Cemetery, one of Boston's most unexpected and underrated wildlife habitats. Beginning at the Forest Hills T-stop, explore the ecologically rich grounds of the cemetery, where birds, pollinators, and turtles make their homes in a landscape shaped by human design.

Guided by a naturalist, you'll learn how urban wildlife adapts and thrives in shared spaces, and what it reveals about the resilience of nature in the city. See public transportation as a pathway to discovery and develop a deeper sense of belonging with the environments we pass by every day.
