Description
Every animal needs a place to live, but what makes one spot better than another? In late spring, the riverfront is busy with birds calling from treetops, bees foraging in flowers, and frogs hopping along the water's edge. On a guided investigation around the park, families will look for clues that reveal how animals choose and use their habitats. By observing movement, feeding behavior, shelter selection, and interactions between each other and humans, participants will uncover how seasonal change, environmental pressures, and human activity shape where different animals live and how they behave in spring.
You may sign up for this program as a one-off or attend multiple Animal Behavior Investigations sessions to build on what you learn and observe throughout the season.
