Description
Discover the medicinal uses of common plants that you can find in your own backyard! Take a guided walk around the sanctuary with a local herbalist to look at everything from weeds to cultivated plants, as well as native trees and shrubs, learning about how different cultures have traditionally used these plants for medicine and food. Engage all your senses, observing, touching, smelling, and even tasting select plants as you deepen your connection to the landscape and engage in open discussion with fellow participants.
