Description
No car? No problem! Escape into nature in the heart of the city as we explore some of Boston's best green spaces accessible by public transit. Celebrate the summer solstice with a guided walk along the Charles River as you discover about its long and storied natural history. Learn about ongoing riparian restoration and the river's transition from industrial waterway to a diverse ecosystem thriving amidst ongoing challenges.
This program encourages participants to see public transportation as a pathway to discovery and to develop a deeper sense of belonging with the environments we pass by every day.
