Description
Dig into the details of the trees that bring the city into full bloom in May. On a guided walk around the park, we'll observe dogwoods, magnolia trees, and hawthorns, exploring their different pollination strategies and evolutionary adaptations. Compare ornamental and native species commonly found in urban areas while sharpening your ID skills and deepening your knowledge of urban ecology.

Meet at the nature center. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a water bottle, and dress appropriately for the weather. There will be bathrooms available. Parking is available but limited, so please avoid driving if possible.
