Description
Celebrate the arrival of maple sugaring season and the beauty of sugar maples during a creative printmaking workshop at The Nest, a cozy community art studio tucked inside a beautiful 125-acre wildlife sanctuary. In this relaxed, hands-on session, you will learn simple gel plate printmaking techniques and use ink, texture, and natural materials to create one-of-a-kind monotype prints inspired by sugar maple trees.
This workshop is welcoming to beginners and enjoyable for all skill levels. Each participant will take home at least five handmade prints that capture the spirit of early spring. After the workshop, you are welcome to enjoy a self-guided walk along the sanctuary trails, where you can look for sap buckets, flowing maples, and other signs of the season. All materials are provided.
