Nature-Inspired Pottery: January Open Studio Series
Description
Discover the joy of handbuilding and sculpting with clay in a relaxed, supportive studio environment. Whether you're completely new to clay or an experienced ceramic artist, this open studio is a welcoming space to explore ideas, build your skills, and create nature-inspired work at your own pace.
Experiment with slab building, sculpting, carving, and surface decoration using a variety of tools and materials, including locally sourced natural textures, custom stencils, 3D-printed texture rollers, and specialty tools from The Nest. Each session includes 2 pounds of clay.
Our skilled instructor will be available throughout each session for guidance, demonstrations, and creative inspiration. You’ll have access to our studio glazes, and all finished pieces will be fired in our kiln.
Come connect with nature, nurture your creativity, and enjoy the camaraderie of a friendly pottery community. It’s a wonderful way to unwind and add a creative spark to your week!
