In this hands-on workshop, we’ll delve into the fascinating world of vernal pools, exploring the incredible creatures that depend on this seasonal habitat. Through guided drawing and watercolor techniques, you’ll learn how to bring salamanders, wood frogs, and other wetland wonders to life on the page while deepening your understanding of their unique ecology.
Whether you're new to nature journaling or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers inspiration and practical techniques to help you connect with the season.

Instructions
Participants will meet at the Nest, located at the Museum of American Bird Art Education Center, 963 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021.
Please park in the gravel parking lot by the large yellow barn and walk along the paved pathway towards and follow the brick pathway into the Nest, where this program will be held.
All materials provided, including small stools for sketching in the meadow, but you are welcome to bring your own art materials.
