Explore the moderate terrain of our scenic trails where we will uncover the fascinating ecology of vernal pool creatures, including spotted salamanders, wood frogs, and fairy shrimp. This afternoon walk offers a wonderful opportunity to deepen your connection with nature and sharpen your outdoor observation skills..
This program is offered in conjunction with a morning nature journaling class focused on vernal pools. Participants can register for one or both sessions separately.

Participants will meet at the Nest, located at the Museum of American Bird Art Education Center, 963 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021.
Please park in the gravel parking lot by the large yellow barn and walk along the paved pathway towards and follow the brick pathway into the Nest, where this program will begin.
All materials provided, including small stools for sketching in the meadow, but you are welcome to bring your own art materials.
