Discover the quiet beauty of winter trees with a nature journaling adventure. During this program, you'll learn to slow down, look closely, and appreciate the unique shapes, textures, and branching patterns that make winter trees so remarkable. We'll explore the science and ecology of trees in winter, while also sharing simple tips and techniques to help you grow your nature journaling practice.

Instructions

Participants will meet at the Nest, located at the Museum of American Bird Art Education Center, 963 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021.

Please park in the gravel parking lot by the large yellow barn and walk along the paved pathway towards and follow the brick pathway into the Nest, where this program will be held.

All materials provided, including small stools for sketching in the meadow, but you are welcome to bring your own art materials.
