Description
Fall is the perfect time to slow down and explore the fascinating world of mushrooms! Join us at The Nest and out on our 125-acre wildlife sanctuary as we look closely at the many shapes, colors, and textures of fungi that appear in the autumn woods.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to deepen your connection to nature by observing mushrooms through the pages of a nature journal. We’ll explore both the art and science of mushrooms-learning about their role in the ecosystem while practicing techniques to record your observations in words, sketches, and numbers. Whether you're new to nature journaling or looking to grow your skills, this workshop will help you see (and draw!) mushrooms in a whole new way.
