Nature-Inspired Ceramic Vase Workshop

Description

Discover the art of pottery and the beauty of winter's natural world in this creative four-week workshop. Guided by skilled instructors, you'll design and craft a unique ceramic vase inspired by nature. Using locally sourced natural materials, custom stencils, 3D-printed texture rollers, and other tools from The Nest, you’ll explore a variety of techniques, including slab building, sculpting, carving, and surface decoration.

Through hands-on practice, you’ll bring your vision to life, adding intricate relief and texture to your vase. Each participant will create a kiln-fired ceramic piece that reflects the charm and textures of the natural world. Finished vases will be ready for pickup 1-2 weeks after the final class. Whether you’re new to pottery or an experienced ceramicist, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to merge creativity with nature’s inspiration.
