Looking Closely: The Art and Ecology of the Milkweed Village

Description

A patch of milkweed is a vibrant and busy place. Summer is a perfect time to capture the beauty of a milkweed patch in a nature journal! In this hands-on workshop, we will explore milkweed and its fascinating community of insects, including the monarch butterfly and bright red milkweed beetle. Through guided drawing and watercolor techniques, you will learn how to bring this summer world to life on the pages of a nature journal.
