Description
A patch of milkweed is a vibrant and busy place. Summer is a perfect time to capture the beauty of a milkweed patch in a nature journal! In this hands-on workshop, we will explore milkweed and its fascinating community of insects, including the monarch butterfly and bright red milkweed beetle. Through guided drawing and watercolor techniques, you will learn how to bring this summer world to life on the pages of a nature journal.

Instructions
Participants will meet at the Nest, located at the Museum of American Bird Art Education Center, 963 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021.
Please park in the gravel parking lot by the large yellow barn and walk along the paved pathway towards and follow the brick pathway into the Nest, where this program will be held.
All materials provided, including small stools for sketching in the meadow, but you are welcome to bring your own art materials.
