Create and Connect: Nature and Art Open Studios

Description

Be inspired by nature and unleash your creativity at The Nest's open studios. These open studio sessions will be staffed by a knowledgeable and experienced artist who can offer hands on guidance and support if needed. While our staff members are happy to help in any way they can, they also understand the value of letting you focus on your own creativity, inspiration, and process.

This is more than an open studio - it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in a beautiful setting, create, connect with others, and celebrate nature and art. Whether you're an experienced artist or just beginning your creative journey, we invite you to relax, be inspired, and bring your visions to life at The Nest.

The open studio space is a warm, inviting environment, where you can explore your creativity amidst a unique collection of inspiration: biological artifacts, including bird mounts, a library of 3D printed skulls and other materials, and an extensive reference library of bird and animal photos. The Nest has a wide range of art supplies including drawing pencils (2H to 6B), charcoal pencils, drawing and watercolor paper, nature journaling materials, watercolor paints, and brushes. If you would like to do gel printmaking, please sign up for the gel printmaking open studio workshop that is being offered at the same time as this open studio workshop. Drop-ins welcome!
