Description
Did you know that there is a whole world of different bees? This spring, we will learn about different types of wild bees and find out what makes them unique in nature.
After a short multimedia talk, participants will create bee-inspired monotype art prints, and then head out on a guided hike to learn more about native wild bees in the meadow, pine grove, and vernal pools of the wildlife sanctuary. You will walk away from this program with your own unique art piece to commemorate the experience, a deeper knowledge of these amazing pollinators, and the skills to look for and better understand the over 350 wild bees that live in Massachusetts.
