Nature's Impressions: Printmaking with Native Plants

Description

Immerse yourself in the art of printmaking from nature at The Nest, a community gathering space and art studio, nestled within a beautiful 124-acre wildlife sanctuary. Join us for printmaking workshop where you will learn different printmaking techniques and create monotype prints of native plants using gel printmaking plates, printmaking ink, and leaves to create unique prints on notecards. After the program, you can enjoy a self-guided hike through the sanctuary after unleashing your creativity. Each participant will take home at 5 notecards and memories of a fulfilling day at the intersection of art and nature. This workshop is geared for all experience levels and a great for beginners with little to no artistic experience. All materials provided.
