Pottery in Motion: Beginner Wheel Throwing Series

return to search

Description

Over this five-session series, learn the basics of the pottery wheel, including centering, pulling, shaping, and finishing techniques.

By the end, you'll have your own collection of one-of-a-kind bowls, mugs, vessels, and sculptural pieces to take home. MABA Education Center's 124-acre wildlife sanctuary offers a setting to explore for inspiration before capturing it in clay.

With only seven spots in the studio, everyone receives generous individual attention and support.

The series is built for beginners, so if you already have extensive wheel experience, get in touch first to see whether it is the right fit.
