A Nature Year at The Nest at the MABA Education Center: Spring
Description
Spring arrives in stages, and most of them pass unnoticed. This three-month series gives you time each month to explore the season's best phenomena with an expert guide.
Watch for the first subtle signs of spring in March, explore the vernal pools that come alive with a variety of amphibians in April, and discover forest wildflowers, migrating birds, and what to look out for during nesting season in May.
Sessions begin inside before heading out for 90 minutes of field work alongside a community of curious adult learners. You will leave with a richer sense of the landscape and a deeper tie to this sanctuary.
