Description
Every September, Monarch Butterflies move through Massachusetts on one of North America's most remarkable migrations, making this the perfect time to capture their journey in the pages of your nature journal.
Inside The Nest, your instructor will guide you through nature journaling and drawing activities focused on Monarchs and their essential host plant, the milkweed.
Then, head out into our 124-acre wildlife sanctuary to observe Monarchs and milkweed in their habitat before returning to the studio to develop your drawings.
This workshop connects your artistic practice with ecological understanding, encouraging you to honor your subject through knowledge. No previous drawing experience is needed.
