Description
Like the natural world, practicing pottery has a way of pushing you to slow down, take your time, and appreciate creating something with your hands. This relaxed series welcomes ceramicists of every level to explore hand building with clay and sculpting at their own pace, using nature for inspiration.
Work with slab building, sculpting, carving, and surface decoration techniques using locally sourced natural textures, custom stencils, 3D-printed texture rollers, and a full range of specialty tools created at The Nest.
A skilled instructor is available throughout every session for guidance, demonstrations, and support. Each session includes two pounds of clay. A collection of studio glazes and kiln firing is available on-site.
