First Fridays: Family Twilight Wildlife Walk

Description

Who's traveling the skies and calling at night? On this September evening walk at the MABA Education Center, families explore the meadows and woodlands of the wildlife sanctuary with expert educators, watching and listening for birds and bats on the move.

Using special bat detection equipment, you'll pick up echolocation calls and identify the species hunting and migrating overhead. The sanctuary's resident Great Horned Owls may also make an appearance as the sky darkens and the night shift begins.

Checking registration status.
