Description
Summer evenings at the MABA Education Center come alive with insect activity. Expert educators will lead you and your family through evening meadows and woodlands of the wildlife sanctuary, searching for fireflies and learning the science behind their remarkable light show.
Discover how these insects use bioluminescence to communicate, learn what else fills a summer night with sound and movement, and listen for the sanctuary's resident Great Horned Owls, who's young are especially vocal at this time of year. Explore with us on this guided walk for an evening that makes the natural world feel genuinely magical.
