Nature and Art at The Nest: Explore, Gather, and Create

Description

Spend a wonderful Saturday together at The Nest! Each month, families are invited to explore the wildlife sanctuary on a guided nature walk, meet animal ambassadors, like an owl, and dive into a hands-on art activity inspired by nature.

Your visit begins with a guided nature walk, where we will search for seasonal wonders such as bird songs, animal tracks, tree buds, and anything else waiting to be discovered. After exploring outdoors, you will enjoy an up-close encounter with one of our resident animals, such as a turtle, owl, hawk, or another fascinating species.

Throughout the program, families can drop in to our cozy art studio to create nature-inspired artwork together. Activities vary by month and may include nature journaling, drawing, watercolor, or gel printmaking with natural textures and shapes.

This relaxed and welcoming program is designed for families of all ages. Come connect with nature, get curious, and create something beautiful together at The Nest!
