Description
It is low tide on the flats, and it's the perfect time to search for horseshoe crabs, a species that dates back 400 million years but faces serious challenges today from habitat loss and growing pressure from human uses.
Learn more about ongoing research efforts to protect and understand this incredible species. As we explore, we will discuss their behavior, biology, conservation, and management. This program also features horseshoe crab tagging, an important tool to help us understand this special creature.
