Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary offers a front-row seat to the changing seasons, and this three-month series invites you to slow down, look closer, and deepen your understanding of the natural world.
Each month, a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist leads an immersive exploration of a seasonal topic, from the abundance of the fall harvest in October to waterfowl migration in November and the fascinating lives of owls in December. Through guided observation, discussion, and time spent outdoors, you'll build your natural history knowledge alongside a community of curious learners, strengthen your connection to this special landscape, and discover the many rewards of spending time in nature throughout the colder months.

Instructions
We will usually start inside with an introduction and then head out for our adventure in the field which will be at least 90 minutes outside. We'll travel mainly on trails and boardwalks, actively exploring and experiencing various habitats and sanctuary spots.
