Experience life on the water in protected Barnstable Harbor, a beautiful, calm setting to build confidence in a kayak. Practice basic paddling skills during a beginner-friendly outing that includes time along the salt marsh edge and a stop at a secluded beach.

Instructions
This trip meets and leaves from Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive 10 minutes early; ending times are approximate and may run long due to tide, wind, and group experience level. Mass Audubon provides boats, paddles, life jackets (required), and small dry bags. Tandem kayaks are preferred, participants may bring their own kayak. Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, a windbreaker, a towel, and a snack; there are no restrooms or water fountains during the trip.
