Description
Explore the world of native edible plants through a program that blends practical skills with bigger-picture ecology. Start with a panel of experts covering ethical foraging, culinary uses, and how to grow edible native species at home.
Then dig into hands-on activities including a wild plant tasting and planting, plus a chance to take home your own edible plant. The experience wraps up with a guided tour of Long Pasture's native edible garden so you can see these species thriving in action.
This workshop is co-hosted by Mass Audubon and the Native Plant Trust, a leader in native plant conservation, horticulture, and education.
