Description
Spring means that vernal pools and other freshwater wetlands are coming to life! These small but mighty water bodies teem with amazing animals for just a few short weeks, and Long Pasture is home to several of them.Take a short hike to a vernal pool and and learning the important conservation work happening locally. We'll even take freshwater samples to explore up-close for salamanders, frogs, and aquatic insects in this family-friendly program!
