Description
Low tide is the perfect time to meet a prehistoric creature crawling among us: the Atlantic Horseshoe Crab. With a Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, explore the sandy flats of Barnstable Harbor and learn about horseshoe crab behavior, biology, and conservation.
Participants can also take part in horseshoe crab tagging as a community scientist, helping researchers better understand this remarkable species. Expect a family-friendly adventure that mixes discovery with meaningful conservation action.
