Spring means that vernal pools are coming to life. These small but mighty water bodies teem with amazing life for just a few short weeks, and Long Pasture is home to several of them. Come hike to a vernal pool and discover the creatures that depend on these habitats while learning the important vernal pool conservation work happening locally

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Be prepared to walk up to 2mi. Check in at the Discovery Center.
Bring binoculars if you have them, but we will have extras to share!
