Description
Where are we going? We don't know yet, but we will look for the rarest bird(s) within a two-hour drive of the Joppa Flats Education Center in Newburyport. We might go into New Hampshire looking for winter finches (Pine Grosbeaks, Red and White-winged Crossbills, Common Redpoll); or to the South Shore for uncommon gulls (Ivory Gull), or to central Massachusetts for boreal species (Canada Jay). Pack your own lunch for this all-day trip, as we'll stop midday to warm-up and refuel for the second half of our adventure.
