Description
Bird watching and knitting both take concentration and noticing details. This program will provide the beginning knitter with the skills to 'wing it' and make three-dimensional knitted birds. The Bobolink will be our sample bird to learn the skills to make other three-dimensional songbirds. These include color work, short rows for shaping, picot cast on, and finishing.

This class is for knitters who know how to cast-on, knit and purl, simple decrease and increase stitches, and are willing to learn new skills. Bring a size 4 knitting needle if you have one. All other materials provided including, yarn, and needle for finishing eyes and feet.
