Introduction to Education Volunteering: The Tide Pools of Plum Island
Description
Education volunteers help staff present programs to schools, groups, and families. Adults who are interested in learning about life between the tides will spend the morning with our staff on the beach and at our touch tank, getting to know our local beach creatures! We will demonstrate how to find and identify marine organisms, examine their adaptations, and discuss how climate change is impacting this ecosystem.
