Wednesday Morning Birding - Cape Ann

Description

Now in its 29th year, Wednesday Morning Birding gives birders of all skill levels excellent exposure to the hot spots in one of the most productive birding areas in the country. Each Wednesday throughout the year (except for the month of July), we'll travel by Mass Audubon vans and carpooling to focus our field trip on the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Plum Island, the Merrimack River estuary, and other locations around Essex County.

Pre-registration not required. Please sign-in and register at Joppa Flats Education Center the morning of the program.

Meet at Gloucester Crossing shopping center on Rt. 128 in Gloucester, in front of Marshalls Dept Store at 9:30 am. We'll carpool to various locations around Cape Ann.

Bring binoculars, a field guide to birds, and a scope if you have one. Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and terrain.
