Summer Solstice Full Moon Beach Hike

Description

Have you ever gone tide pooling as the sun is setting or explored a a sandy beach under the light of a full moon? Engage in on-the-beach noctural experiments about night vision, bioluminescence and more. Attract ilve minnows with your flashlight and watch barnacles open up to feed.

Enjoy the longest day of the year with science on the shore led by experienced staff. What a perfect way to spend this special night and give thanks for the natural wonders all around us!

Instructions

This is not a drop-off class; all children must be accompanied by at least one adult. All adults are expected to participate in the program.

Prior to the program, you will receive an email with information on where to meet, parking and facilities details, driving directions and other guidelines.

Mass Audubon Cancellation Policy: Withdrawal 7 days or more before program is a full refund. Withdrawal 72 hours and up to 7 days before program is a full credit. Withdrawal less than 72 hours before program is a registration fee donation.
