Introduction to Education Volunteering: Tide Pool Touch Tank Tutorial

Description

Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats education volunteer with one or both of the offered programs that take place on Tuesdays in June. During the summer, our Education Volunteers assist with our outdoor field trips for families and our drop in public programs, The Traveling Touch Tank (offsite) and Meet Beach Creatures (onsite). These sessions are free to Mass Audubon members and nonmembers can register and pay a one-time membership fee of $70.00.

We will demonstrate how to find and identify marine organisms, examine their adaptations and discuss how climate change is affecting this ecosystem.
