Teen Naturalist Club: From Salt Marshes to Forest Trails
Description
This fall science and conservation series puts teens at the center of real field work across the North Shore's most compelling habitats.
Tally debris in a salt marsh for community science analysis. Search for fungi on a hike near a freshwater pond. Collect river samples by canoe and identify macroinvertebrates. Learn about coastal climate challenges while watching harbor seals from the beach. Set up trail cameras in the forest. Each session connects what you discover to the larger conservation challenges these places face, from biodiversity loss to climate change.
